India, March 26 -- Rawalpindi Pindiz have made a late change to their squad by signing Usman Khawaja as a replacement for Laurie Evans ahead of the Pakistan Super League 2026 season.

Evans pulled out just before the tournament, becoming one of several overseas players to withdraw. Others like Spencer Johnson and Dasun Shanaka also left the PSL recently, mainly due to IPL opportunities. However, no official reason has been given for Evans's exit.
