India, April 6 -- Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi has made a bold statement about the future of the Pakistan Super League, suggesting that the competition is on track to challenge the Indian Premier League, currently the world's most valuable T20 league. He believes the PSL is expanding quickly and could eventually become the top franchise tournament in the world.

His comments come during a period when the 11th edition of the PSL is underway, but under certain limitations. Matches are being held at only two venues due to regional tensions, while the IPL continues its usual format across multiple cities in India without any interruptions.
