India, June 9 -- Watched Hereditary and waiting for its next film to happen? Well, here is a new update on the film. Filmmaker Ari Aster, who made his directorial debut with Hereditary, has revealed that he has already written the script for the prequel of the film. But there's a catch. The director does not plan to shoot the film anytime soon.

At the Egyptian Theatre screening of Hereditary, Ari Aster said, "I wrote a prequel to this (Hereditary). It never feels like the right time. It's a prequel, not a sequel, so I don't know where this goes," as quoted by Variety.
