India, March 25 -- The Premier League 2025/26 season was set abuzz by the shocking revelation of Mohamed Salah's departure from Liverpool FC as a free agent at the end of the summer. After nine highly successful years at Anfield, the Egyptian international on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, agreed with the club to end his contract, which was due to expire in 2027, a year in advance.
