India, July 17 -- This morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off India's inaugural hydrogen powered train in Jind, Haryana. Now, India has become the world's sixth country to have such a train after Germany, China, Japan, the US and France.

PM Modi Flags Off Hydrogen Fueled Train

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India's first ever hydrogen powered train in Jind, Haryana this morning. While speaking at the launch, he said "Whenever Indian Railways is spoken of, the Bombay to Thane expressway is spoken of. Now whenever hydrogen trains are spoken of, Jind will be remembered", he said at the grand inauguration event.
