India, July 22 -- Manchester City have tied down one of their biggest homegrown stars, with Phil Foden signing a new four-year contract extension that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2030. The midfielder's previous deal was set to expire next summer, but Foden has committed his future to the club as he prepares to continue working under new head coach Enzo Maresca.

A product of City's academy since joining at the age of nine, Foden has played a key role in the club's golden era, winning multiple Premier League titles and becoming an important figure in their historic 2022-23 treble-winning season. The 26-year-old expressed his excitement about the next chapter of his career and continuing his journey with Manchester City.
