India, June 8 -- The much-awaited film Peddi has apparently delivered a strong box office run in just the first four days, and it's kept going like it really means it in theatres. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, this big-budget project has managed to pull in audiences from the domestic side as well as international markets, and ticket sales have stayed pretty steady through that important opening weekend window.

Even though people are giving mixed reactions for a few of its creative choices, it still seems to be doing very well commercially. The steady turnout really points to a solid audience magnetism around the lead cast and, basically, the general buzz that's floating around the film.
