India, May 21 -- The romantic comedy drama Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, with Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, has already ticked off six days at the box office. It's helmed by Mudassar Aziz, and, honestly, it kind of feels like a spiritual successor to that 2019 success, as it again brings back the whole mess of modern love through a tangled maze of marital misunderstandings and what not.

And with an ensemble lineup of Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh, among others, the film leans into humor, bewilderment, and emotional friction almost side by side. After that relatively calm opening, it's followed the usual weekday rhythm, with moderate slowdowns here and there; still, it keeps showing up in theatres pretty steadily.
