India, June 24 -- The Odisha Cabinet has approved an ambitious Rs.500-crore Waterfront Development Scheme aimed at rejuvenating riverfronts and urban water bodies across the state. The five-year initiative is expected to transform selected urban water landscapes into vibrant, environmentally sustainable, and people-friendly public spaces, marking a significant step toward sustainable urban development.
Major Drive towards Urban Revival
The innovative scheme has been approved under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
