The No. 6 seed has reached the championship match after four wins in the tournament, including a three-set comeback against Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals and a semifinal victory over Daniil Medvedev. Djokovic was leading 7-5, 5-3 when Medvedev was disqualified after hitting a spectator with the ball, sending the 24-time Grand Slam champion into the final.
