India, June 5 -- Early Friday morning, residents of a tower in one of the most prominent housing neighborhoods of Noida, IVY County Society, in Sector 74, went into panic mode when a massive fire broke out in the building, leading to a huge-scale emergency response. The initial report says the fire started in a flat on the 12th floor, and then it spread to nearby flats, where several people are reportedly trapped. The smoke rose in thick billows from the building and firefighters hurried into the burning building to extinguish the flames.
