India, Sept. 15 -- The Nikkei 225 recovered on Tuesday, gaining 0.4% to trade above 63,700, as selected technology stocks bounced back after two sessions of losses. Investors remained cautious, however, with several major economic and global market factors in focus. The index stood at 63,735, up 242 points or 0.38%, according to the latest available data.

Why Did Nikkei 225 Rise Today?

The rebound was largely supported by gains in technology stocks, helping the Japanese benchmark recover from its recent decline. Investors were also assessing the outlook for artificial intelligence companies after Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called for a slower pace of AI development over concerns surrounding potential risks.
