India, May 20 -- History is being made in NFL as Nashville has officially been selected to host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030. The decision was approved by NFL owners during league meetings in Orlando, marking the first time the "Music City" will host the league's biggest game. With this, Nashville becomes only the 17th metro area in the United States to receive a Super Bowl.

The game will be played at the new Nissan Stadium, which is part of a $2.1 billion construction project expected to open in 2027. The venue will have a few seasons to establish itself before welcoming the Super Bowl, with Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk and team officials present as the bid was finalized.
