India, Nov. 4 -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson could miss the remainder of the 2026 NFL season after suffering a serious right thumb injury against the Buffalo Bills on November 1.

Head coach Jesse Minter confirmed that the two-time MVP requires surgery and will be placed on Injured Reserve, although the team has not officially ruled him out for the season.

Jackson suffered the injury on his first offensive snap after returning from a three-game absence with an ankle injury.

Minter described the possibility of a season ending injury as realistic, leaving Baltimore facing an extended period without its franchise quarterback.
