Next Severe Thunderstorm Threat For Michigan Already Brewing To The West, Forecasters Say
India, Aug. 25 -- A fresh round of severe thunderstorms is already taking shape well to the west of Michigan and is expected to work its way toward the Great Lakes region in the coming days, according to the latest outlooks issued by the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center.
Forecasters said the pattern responsible for the state's next bout of unsettled weather is already active over the northern Plains and Upper Midwest, with the atmosphere there primed to send additional rounds of strong to severe storms eastward through the week.
