India, Nov. 6 -- Newcastle United are reportedly considering a January 2027 move for Al Ahli striker Ivan Toney, with manager Matthias Jaissle keen to reunite with the England international. Manchester United are also monitoring the 30 year old as they assess options to strengthen their forward line.

According to Football Insider, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown believes Newcastle are determined to sign a striker and have Toney on their radar. The forward previously worked under Jaissle at Al Ahli, where he scored 72 goals in 93 appearances.

However, there is no confirmed bid or agreement between Newcastle and the Saudi Pro League club. The potential move remains at the reporting and interest stage.
