New York, Aug. 23 -- At least five people were killed and dozens injured when a tour bus travelling from Niagara Falls to New York City overturned on a highway near Buffalo on Friday. Some Indians were among the passengers, according to The New York Times.
The crash took place around 12:30 pm (local time) on the New York State Thruway near Pembroke. The bus, carrying 54 people, rolled into a ditch after the driver lost control.
Maj. Andre J. Ray of the New York State Police said investigators believe the driver, who survived, became distracted, "lost control and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll over into a ditch."
