India, Aug. 28 -- Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah and members of his Council of Ministers have decided to donate one month's salary to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund following the devastating floods in the country. The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting on Friday as authorities continue rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations in areas hit by the recent flash floods.

The government has instructed the Ministry of Finance to prepare a relief and rehabilitation package for individuals and businesses affected by the disaster.
