India, July 31 -- Neeraj Chopra will once again carry the hopes of a nation when he steps onto the runway at Scotstoun Stadium for the men's javelin throw final at the Commonwealth Games 2026. Four years after winning gold in Birmingham, the Olympic champion is back on the Commonwealth stage with another medal in sight.

The 28-year-old booked his place in the final with a best throw of 79.61m in the qualification round and will now aim to add a second Commonwealth Games title to his growing list of achievements. However, the road to gold will be anything but straightforward.
