India, July 30 -- The men's javelin throw competition is expected to be one of the marquee events at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow. Neeraj Chopra will begin his campaign with the qualification round on Thursday, July 30, before he aims for a second Commonwealth Games gold in the final on August 1. While the Indian superstar remains one of the favorites, the road to the podium is packed with elite international throwers, making this one of the most competitive javelin fields in the history of the Games.
