India, July 4 -- The Andre Drummond has found a new home after agreeing to a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the New York Knicks. The veteran center joins New York following the departure of Mitchell Robinson, giving the Knicks an experienced presence in the frontcourt and one of the league's most accomplished rebounders.

Drummond leaves the Philadelphia 76ers as the franchise continues reshaping its roster under new President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey. With several offseason changes already underway, the Sixers will now have to replace the veteran big man, while the Knicks add proven depth and rebounding to strengthen their rotation.
