India, Sept. 4 -- Three-time NBA All-Star Ben Simmons has officially secured his return to basketball, agreeing to a one-year contract worth 3.5 million dollars with the Sacramento Kings in September 2026. The 30-year-old Australian playmaker finalized terms on a veteran minimum deal after sitting out the entire 2025 26 campaign while rehabilitating chronic nerve and lower back injuries.

The signing comes after Simmons completed successful private workout sessions in Sacramento, meeting directly with Kings general manager Scott Perry and head coach Doug Christie.
