India, Oct. 25 -- Devin Booker delivered a standout performance with 43 points, seven assists and seven rebounds as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors 131-122 on Saturday night. Miles Bridges chipped in with 16 points, helping Phoenix extend its impressive run of winning home openers to five consecutive seasons.

The Warriors, meanwhile, slipped to 0-3 for the first time in 19 years after a demanding stretch of three games in four days. Golden State was also without several key players, including Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Draymond Green and Al Horford, all of whom were sidelined with injuries. The loss marked a difficult start to the season for a Warriors side missing much of its core lineup.
