India, Aug. 3 -- The Australian athletics community is mourning the loss of 21-year-old middle-distance runner Natasha Ward, whose death was confirmed on Thursday by NSW Athletics and the Sutherland District Athletics Club. Ward, who competed at the 2024 Australian Athletics Championships, was regarded as one of the country's promising young athletes.
