India, Aug. 23 -- Nancy Guthrie Case Latest Update Today: The disappearance of 84 year old Nancy Guthrie is taking yet another controversial turn after human remains were found in the Arizona desert, about 15 miles (24 kilometers) away from her Tucson residence.

"At this point, there was no indication" that the remains were linked to Guthrie, who vanished on February 1, according to Pima County authorities. This finding has nonetheless brought up concerns over how thoroughly the nearby Sonoran Desert has been looked for.
