India, Sept. 9 -- Namibia and South Africa are set to make history on September 9, 2026, when they meet in their first-ever bilateral men's ODI at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek. The three-match series carries added significance as both nations prepare to co-host the 2027 ODI World Cup. Namibia will enter the contest with confidence after giving South Africa a tough challenge in the recent T20I tri-series, including an 18-run win and an 11-run defeat. The hosts are also returning to ODI cricket against a Full Member for the first time since the 2003 World Cup.
