India, July 5 -- The "City of Dreams," Mumbai, has been witnessing continuous and extremely heavy rainfall over the last few days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for the city and suburbs on Sunday. According to the weather department outlook, heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds with the speed of 60 km/h are going to be witnessed. The weather department has warned that the wet spell is likely to continue over the next 24 hours.
