India, June 23 -- Mumbaikars are likely to get relief from the ongoing heat and humidity as the Indian Meteorological Department stated that the southwest monsoon is steadily moving forward, and it is likely to affect Mumbai in the coming 48 hours. Currently, the northwest limit of the monsoon is passing through several regions, which include Alibag, Pune, Nizamabad, Dantewada, Balangir, Sundargarh, Chatra, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur. Weather officials say conditions remain favourable for further advancement into other parts of Maharashtra, which also include the capital city.
