India, Aug. 10 -- Met Office UK Heatwave Warning: Britain is heading into another dangerous spell of extreme summer weather, with temperatures expected to climb sharply after a brief cooler start to the week. Forecasters expect the heat to intensify from Tuesday and peak on Wednesday and Thursday, when parts of England and Wales could see temperatures reach around 36degC.

The potential heatwave comes after the UK already recorded a record number of days with temperatures above 30degC in 2026.
