India, Sept. 26 -- Tajinderpal Singh Toor will look to add another Asian Games medal to his impressive record when he competes in the men's shot put final at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 on Saturday, September 26. Karanveer Singh will also represent India in the medal event at the Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium.

Tajinderpal Singh Toor's Asian Games journey

Toor enters the final as a two-time Asian Games champion. He won his first Asian Games gold at Jakarta 2018, throwing 20.75m, which was then a national record.

He successfully defended his title at the Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023, becoming one of India's leading names in the event.
