India, June 13 -- The Netflix documentary Maternal Instinct revisits one of Texas's most disturbing true crime cases: the 2020 murder of 21-year-old pregnant woman Reagan Simmons Hancock, whose unborn child was forcibly taken from her body. The case, which shocked the US, ultimately led to the conviction of Taylor Parker, a woman who had long been faking her own pregnancy.
