India, June 16 -- Director Imtiaz Ali's emotional drama had its first real box office test on Monday, right after it enjoyed a solid opening weekend. Like expected, ticket sales did dip on Day 4, and the weekday slowdown seemed to hit footfalls in theatres across the board. This kind of drop is pretty normal for films that lean into content more than pure mass-market action or big spectacle.
