India, Sept. 1 -- Maharashtra Draft SIR Electoral Roll 2026: Draft electoral roll for the state of Maharashtra under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) came out on August 31, 2026, which covered all 288 assembly constituencies. The magnitude of the exercise is quite remarkable: Out of the total number of 9,78,54,049 electors in the roll prior to SIR, 7,71,65,562 are part of the draft roll, while 2,06,88,487, or 21.14%, have not been included at this stage.
