India, June 27 -- Motorists travelling on the M5 through Somerset are facing severe disruption this afternoon following a multi-vehicle collision near Junction 19 (Gordano Interchange) close to Portishead. Although the motorway has now reopened, one or more lanes remain affected, leading to heavy congestion and lengthy queues. Drivers heading northbound are being advised to expect delays of at least 25 minutes, with congestion stretching for around six miles between Weston-super-Mare and Avonmouth.
