India, June 17 -- India's automotive sector is booming, and the market is opening its gates for upcoming plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). These vehicles combine the benefits of electric driving with the convenience of a petrol engine, making them an attractive middle ground between conventional cars and fully electric vehicles.
