India, July 9 -- The wait is finally over for more than 1.3 million hopeful runners who entered the ballot for the historic 2027 TCS London Marathon. Applicants from the UK and around the world should have received emails confirming whether they have booked a place in what will be a landmark edition of the iconic race. Unlike previous years, the 2027 event will take place across two days, making it the biggest London Marathon in history.

Organisers have introduced the one-time expansion to accommodate a record 100,000 participants, allowing thousands more runners to experience the famous 26.2-mile course from Greenwich to Westminster.
