India, Sept. 11 -- There was a significant surge in silver rates in India on Friday, September 11, 2026 as the silver price rate for retail customers went up by Rs.5 per gram to Rs.255 per gram. In kilograms, the metal rate stands at Rs.2,55,000 per kilogram, a rise of Rs.5,000 from Rs.2,50,000 previously. There are many factors behind the continued popularity of silver amongst investors, jewellers and industries as the metal is both precious and industrial.
