India, Oct. 6 -- Gold Rate Today, 6 October 2026: Prices of gold in India continued to be high on October 6, 2026, with the Indian market continuing to digest a massive increase observed until the end of August followed by a correction in September and the first half of October.

The latest price per gram stands at Rs.14,918 for 24K gold, Rs.13,675 per gram for 22K gold and Rs.11,189 per gram for 18K gold. This means a cost of Rs.1,49,180 for 10 grams of 24K gold, Rs.1,36,750 for 22K and Rs.1,11,890 for 18K gold, prior to making jewellery and other levies. The volatility in the market has increased considerably.
