India, Aug. 27 -- Testimony has concluded in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three young children in 2023, after 21 days of proceedings and 84 witnesses, setting the stage for closing arguments on Thursday before the case goes to the jury.

Clancy, 36, has pleaded not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility to charges that she strangled five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson and eight-month-old Callan at the family's home in Duxbury in January 2023. Her defence has argued throughout the trial that she was in the grip of postpartum psychosis, a rare condition linked to the stress, sleep deprivation and hormonal changes that follow childbirth, and that her mental state was w...
