India, Jan. 6 -- LEGO has introduced the Smart Brick at CES 2026, signalling a bold new phase for the iconic toy brand. This tiny but powerful piece blends digital interaction with hands-on building fun. Fans and tech watchers say this could be the biggest change to LEGO play since the classic Minifigure debuted in 1978.
It marries physical creativity with responsive tech without needing screens or apps. The Smart Brick uses built-in sensors and sound to react to how kids play. It can recognise other Smart pieces and change its behaviour in real time.
