India, July 22 -- Following disastrous campaigns in two major competitions, Indian badminton star Lakshya Sen aims to bounce back when he clashes against Yushi Tanaka in the opening round of the China Open 2026. Lakshya last featured at the Japan Open earlier this month. Despite entering the tournament with high hopes, he ended up losing the first-round match to local favourite Koki Watanabe. Lakshya had a similar fate at the Indonesia Open, where he suffered a Round of 32 defeat to Alwi Farhan.
