India, Sept. 8 -- India U-19 captain Lakshya Raichandani is preparing to take on a major responsibility as he leads India's young side against Australia U-19 in a five-match multi-format series later this month. The 17-year-old top-order batter is currently playing for Mussoorie Thunder in the Dehradun T20 League 2026, where he is getting valuable exposure in the shortest format ahead of the international assignment.

India U-19 will face Australia U-19 in three unofficial ODIs in Rajkot on September 18, September 21 and September 23, followed by two unofficial Tests. The first unofficial Test will begin in Rajkot on September 27, while the second is scheduled to start in Ahmedabad on October 5.
