India, Aug. 19 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will release the 39th instalment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana on Wednesday, August 19. The payment will reach the bank accounts of more than 1.25 crore eligible women through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The state-level programme is being organised in Maihar, where the government is expected to disburse more than Rs 2,148 crore under the latest payment cycle.

How Much Will Women Receive Under Ladli Behna Yojana?

Eligible beneficiaries will receive Rs 1,750 each this month.

The payment includes:

* Rs 1,500 as the regular monthly assistance* Rs 250 as a special Raksha Bandhan benefit
