India, Sept. 20 -- Spanish queer drama La Bola Negra has emerged as one of the major talking points of the 2026 film festival season after winning the coveted People's Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Directed by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, the film has already made a strong impression internationally following its world premiere at Cannes earlier this year.
