India, Oct. 21 -- Korea Stock Market (KRX) Today (October 21): South Korea's stock market staged a strong recovery on Wednesday, October 21, as investors returned to semiconductor shares following the previous session's sharp losses. The rebound lifted the benchmark KOSPI above 5,700 points and pushed the tech-heavy KOSDAQ back towards the 800-point mark during morning trading. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix led the advance as bargain hunters stepped in and foreign investors resumed buying.

The recovery followed a 3.73% fall in the KOSPI on October 20, when concerns about artificial intelligence (AI) spending and the disappointing debut of AI infrastructure company Elice Group unsettled markets.
