India, June 23 -- What if a robot became your closest friend? That's the question at the heart of Klara And The Sun, the upcoming sci-fi drama starring Jenna Ortega. The film's first trailer has now been released, offering a closer look at Ortega's character who plays Klara, an Artificial Friend designed to help people overcome loneliness.

Directed by Taika Waititi and based on Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro's bestselling novel Klara and the Sun, the film combines science fiction with an emotional story about friendship, family, illness and hope.
