India, May 2 -- After departing the United States following a high-profile visit, Britain's King Charles III arrived in Bermuda on Friday for two days, marking his first-ever trip to a British Overseas Territory since his accession to the throne.

The King travelled solo to the North Atlantic archipelago, where he was met with a mix of traditional pageantry, community celebrations, and a ceremony full of military pomp despite the island's complicated relationship with the monarchy.

Charles arrived at the overseas territory's former capital, St George's and was greeted by a humongous crowd of the islanders.
