India, Aug. 20 -- There will be planned power cuts in various areas of Kashmir between August 20 and 27 as well as one power cut on September 1, 2026. As per the KPDCL, there will be planned power cuts due to maintenance on various 33 kV lines, which will affect residential areas, hospitals, railway stations, industries and nearby villages.

The period of the power cuts varies from two hours to seven hours based on the feeder and schedule of maintenance. The critical aspect for consumers is preparedness, especially those relying extensively on electricity.
