India, Aug. 25 -- More than 1 crore voters in Karnataka were initially flagged under the ASDDO category during the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The figure later translated into about 1.07 crore names being excluded from the draft electoral roll, according to the latest reports. However, being marked under ASDDO did not automatically mean that a voter was permanently deleted. Eligible voters have an opportunity to check their status and seek inclusion or correction.
