India, June 5 -- The new Cabinet of Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar was sworn in on Wednesday, and then on Thursday the government officially released the portfolio allocation for the Cabinet members. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot's notification stated that Shivakumar will keep some of the most powerful ministries, like Finance, Cabinet Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) and Intelligence. He will also be in charge of all departments that still haven't been assigned to a minister yet.
